You should not use The Good Prep if you are severally underweight, pregnant, breastfeeding, under 18 or have any medical condition which affects your dietary requirements. The Good Prep is not liable for any illness or medical reaction caused by contact with or consumption of The Good Prep Food. The Good Prep may not be able to accommodate clients with specialist dietary needs or conditions and, in particular, The Good Prep are unable to deliver to those who have allergies that could result in illness, anaphylactic shock or those clients with diabetes who are insulin dependent.
If you have any type of food allergy, our service may not be suitable.
1. About us
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of The Good Prep website and the purchase of our meal plans and products.
By placing an order or subscribing to a plan, you agree to these Terms.
The Good Prep provides freshly prepared meals and subscription meal plans for personal use within the UK.
2. Eligibility
To place an order you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Provide accurate and complete account information
- Use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes
We may refuse or cancel orders where these conditions are not met.
3. Your contract with us
A contract is formed when your order is accepted and payment is successfully processed.
We may occasionally be unable to accept an order due to availability, delivery constraints, or payment issues. If this happens, we will notify you and issue a refund where applicable.
4. Subscription plans
Many of our products are sold on a recurring subscription basis.
4.1 Billing cycle
Your plan renews automatically at the frequency you select until you pause, skip, or cancel.
4.2 Cut-off
Changes to upcoming deliveries must be made before the stated weekly cut-off time shown in your account.
4.3 Failed payments
If payment cannot be taken, we may retry or pause your deliveries until payment is resolved.
4.4 Price changes
We may update prices from time to time. Where possible, we will provide reasonable notice before changes take effect.
5. Pausing, skipping and cancelling
You can manage your subscription in your account.
- Changes take effect from the next eligible delivery after the cut-off
- Orders already in production may not be eligible for cancellation or refund
This does not affect your statutory rights.
6. Delivery
We aim to deliver on your selected delivery day using third-party couriers.
6.1 Delivery responsibility
Risk in the products passes to you once delivery is completed to the address or safe place provided.
6.2 Safe place and missed deliveries
If you provide delivery instructions, you accept responsibility for the suitability of that location for perishable goods.
As part of your contract with us, you are not permitted to change your delivery time/date via DPD – your parcel is perishable and may be disposed of. We cannot be held responsible for any delayed parcels due to incorrect/incomplete addresses or amendments made via DPD.
6.3 Delays
While we work with trusted couriers, delivery times are not guaranteed. Where issues occur, we will review each case fairly and may offer support at our discretion
7. Perishable goods
Our meals are fresh and time-sensitive.
Because of their nature, once dispatched they are generally not eligible for cancellation or return unless they are faulty or not as described.
8. Product information
We take care to ensure product descriptions, nutritional information, and imagery are accurate.
However:
- Meals may vary slightly due to seasonal ingredients
- Packaging may change without notice
These variations do not affect product quality.
9. Allergens, dietary preferences and nutrition
We clearly label allergens and ingredients, but our kitchens handle multiple ingredients.
We cannot guarantee the absence of traces of allergens.
Our meals and nutritional information are provided for general guidance and are not intended as medical advice.
If you have specific medical or dietary concerns, you should consult a healthcare professional.
10. Quality and issues
If something isn’t right, please contact us as soon as possible with details and, where possible, photos.
Where products are faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality, we will provide an appropriate resolution in line with your consumer rights.
11. Promotions, discounts and credits
From time to time we may offer:
- Introductory offers
- Promotional codes
- Referral or account credits
These:
- May be subject to eligibility criteria
- Cannot usually be combined unless stated
- Have no cash value
- May be withdrawn where misuse or abuse is suspected
12. Account use
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
We may suspend or close accounts where there is:
- Fraudulent activity
- Misuse of offers
- Breach of these Terms
13. Our liability
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss of profit, business or opportunity
Our total liability in connection with any order will not exceed the amount paid for the affected products.
14. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform where this is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including supply chain disruption, severe weather, or courier issues.
15. Intellectual property
All content on our website, including branding, imagery and copy, belongs to The Good Prep or its licensors and may not be used without permission.
