Are you struggling to see health and fitness results?

Have you been feeling demotivated lately with the lack of results you’re seeing? Firstly, it’s really normal to feel this way.

We all have different struggles and challenges when it comes to our health and fitness goals. Going back to basics usually helps when you need a boost of motivation.

Here are our top 3 tips to help you stay on track and reach your goals.

1. Identify a clear goal!

Sometimes it’s not enough to say you want to get fit, lose weight or gain more muscle. You need to define what this means to you personally! Then, decide the actions you need to take to get there. Will you go for a daily walk to get those steps in? Are you aiming to train in the gym 3 x per week? Does having meal prep readily prepared 5 days a week make you less likely to eat junk food?

Be specific and you’ll find it much easier to stay motivated because you’ve created clear actions to get you closer to your goal. Our biggest tip is to define what health and fitness success is to you in a few sentences. Keep this somewhere you can read it daily. As a result, you’ll have a constant reminder to stay accountable. It’s okay to fall off track occasionally – we all do! However, consistency is key and by reading your definition, you’ll be able to get back up with purpose.

2. Don’t let your diet sabotage your progress.

We actually don’t like the word diet – at all. Healthy eating is a lifestyle and something that should be enjoyable (and tasty!). That’s why our motto is to stay healthy not hungry. Most people approach a “diet” in the completely wrong way. They either aim to follow something that is way too restrictive and therefore not healthy or sustainable, or they don’t eat as healthily as they think they do. Tracking your meals is a great way to start to understand how your food is fuelling or stalling your progress. If you’re someone who struggles with portion control or temptation of takeaways, having freshly prepped meals and using a meal prep service could be the key to seeing real results.

3. Make sure you’re actually eating enough!

On the flip side, many people under-eat and this can be just as counter-productive! If you’ve been over using the treadmill and cutting calories or training hard without increasing your calorie intake, you could see your results plateau. There’s nothing more frustrating than this when you’re working hard in the gym, so make sure you are consuming healthy foods to fuel those workouts!
